Next Lookbook

     Hey lovelies!
I haven't published a lookbook in a long time (check out my last one here), huh? I think it's time to have a new one up- but what type?
I want you all to vote; do you want a lookbook for music festivals or spring/summer? Vote to the right of this post and let me know! :3

Blue Eyes

Do you ever just want to wear a sweater and boots, but you also want to wear a skirt? Usually when I feel this, outfits like this one are the result. Here I layered a thick sweater over a thin one, adding a cobalt skater skirt and high socks.

Already Gone

Let's take a moment to be grateful for shift dresses. I found this beauty for $10 at H&M last month and my goodness, I'm so happy I did. In an eye-catching shade of red with an embroidered neckline and sleeves, it's also super comfy. To keep it simple, I wore black studded flats.

Spring Playlist

Now that it is finally starting to warm up, I'm finding myself wanting to get out more to enjoy the weather. The long, bitter winter we just endured is over and having a fun playlist for Spring '14 is essential to getting pumped for this season! Here are some of my favourite tracks.

      1. Typical Girls- The Slits

      2. Fancy- Iggy Azalea ft. Charli XCX

      3. Madness- Muse

      4. She Lit A Fire- Lord Huron

      5. You and I- Ingrid Michaelson

      6. Tire Swing- Kimya Dawson

      7. Intro- The xx

      8. Mushaboom- Feist

      9. Riptide- Vance Joy

     10. Team- Lorde

It's My Life

If you're ever struggling with trying to find something to wear, denim is always the way to go. When wearing multiple denim pieces, though, it's important to tailor it properly. Here I wore a chambray top and made sure to unbutton the collar and roll up the sleeves to give it a more laid back look. Cuffing the bottoms of my jeans did the same for the bottoms.

To make this outfit more sleek, I wore nude ballet flats and carried a blush-coloured bag. The look is relaxed and polished- a perfect balance.

Stylish Friends

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I have some very fashionable friends. Each one of their styles is unique and different; pretty cool, huh?
Here are a couple of my friends and some of their best looks I managed to capture in photos.

This is Hayley Mac, my main squeeze. She likes denim, graphic tees and cool skirts; who doesn't?

Here's Ezeraph showing off his snazzy pocket watch. He's a pretty cool dude who likes vans and skinny jeans- check out his music here.

Remember Jeannette from my back to school lookbook a few months ago? She has returned- with bows and polka dots.

Madness

I really, really adore sweaters on skater skirts. It's a fool-proof combination that looks good no matter what. That's why this look is perfect for every weekender out there. My graphic Last Place sweater (looks familiar, right?) paired with a daisy print skirt is comfy and adorable. When I first tried the two on together, I KNEW I needed to wear my Doc Martens with it. It was just meant to be.

I wore this out to dinner and shopping with my family on Saturday, a lovely look for a lovely evening. Scored an AWESOME bag (you will see it on here soon!!) and mug for only $40. Earlier, I had my hair cut and coloured at Pro-Cutters Salon! You can check out where I got my hair did here.

You Are A Tourist

So where I live, it has been absolutely freaking freezing for the past few months. Everybody has been praying for a reprieve in snow showers like their lives depend on it, and I have too; mostly because I want to wear outfits like the one in this post.
Sweaters and skater skirts are a match made in heaven, especially when in a black and white colour palette with splashes of neon. Converse just add to the chill look.
